Don't abuse your body!

I am guilty of abusing my body, so the title of this post will also serve as a reminder to myself, and I hope the readers will also remember the story I'm about to tell.

I was the type of a person who wouldn't stop once I've started a task. I enjoyed cleaning and fixing the house, I would start in the morning and sometimes would finish at 2 the next morning, and then I could already sleep. General cleaning had been a regular chore, at least once a month. Until I had a total hysterectomy (removal of the whole uterus), and noticed a big change. I got tired easily, so gone were the days when I could clean the house thoroughly.

Just recently however, the amazing effect of Tiens Cordyceps on me has manifested when I was scheduled to decorate the house for Christmas! I seemed tireless, so sweeping the dusts from all the tops that are less than two feet from the ceiling was easy, with the use of an aluminum ladder, a paint brush for sweeping and a dust pan. But I had to stop as soon as the sun is down or dusts will fall on the people who were at home already. That went on for five days, though on the third day all I did was finish putting the Christmas garland near the ceiling at the living room, and then cook and wash and fix the dishes until past 12 midnight since it was my son's birthday. That was the first time I cleaned the house though just a part of it, for almost one week, and the first time I exposed myself to dusts for two and then three consecutive days. That never happened in the past because I could do that kind of cleaning more often so there were always less dusts, which took just a day to clean.

I didn't expect my body will complain, but after that, I had migraine and cough for more than a week, though it was not severe because I was continuously taking Cordyceps. I discovered that my migraine was caused by tubularly formed mucus all over my sinuses which I was able to expel after more than a week (at first I was surprised where it came from because all I did was blow my nose). I realized that I had inhaled a lot of dusts, and no amount of treatment could immediately heal the damage that I have done.

If you're wondering why I didn't get help from the man of the house, that was because my husband was suffering from arthritis at that time, after eating peanuts for consecutive days for two straight weeks!

What you've read are two testimonials in a row, and if ever there is something positive about those experiences, that is the opportunity to be the examples that nobody should follow! Remember, to take good care of your bodies, everything should be done in moderation, even exercise.

My Blogging Story - Part 2

Browsing my notes for make-money-online researches, I just traced how I ended up blogging. I mentioned in "My Blogging Story" that I was told about how blogging can make money, but it was not the first thing I looked for when I was looking for online jobs. That is the real reason why I had to pay $49. I was looking for other online jobs because I heard that affiliate marketing makes the most money online. But I realized that affiliate marketing is not that easy, though I can't remember why that was my conclusion. Since blogging is basically writing about anything, and writing is what I've wanted to do at any point in my life, I decided to choose blogging.

Through my notes also, I traced that it was Blogsvertise who recommended that I join Blogcatalog and other social networks for bloggers, and was the first to give me tips on how I can monetize my blogs. I would have forgotten that, if I didn't write those information in my notes. Why? Because my first blogging earnings came from Payperpost followed by Socialspark, and it was only after 7 months of blogging when I received a task assignment from Blogsvertise, which I've already forgotten at that time. If I can only get several tasks from these social networks, I won't look for any other source of income, simply because I enjoy what I'm doing. But blogging is not just enjoying what you write because with it comes some responsibilities like promoting your blog, reading other blogs also and commenting on posts which can be enjoyable too, and other ways that will increase the traffic to your site. Anything I forgot?

The most versatile gadget

I guess you'll agree if I say that the most versatile gadget a person can own should have something to do with his or her wellness. I'm talking about the Comb Massage Gadget of Tiens that sells like hotcake! Even in times when it is out of stock, it is still selling as an IOU item. Can any product beat that? That only shows that most people are health conscious because they fear pain, and the most used feature of this product is to eliminate pain that can be felt in any part of the body. That is probably the main reason why anybody buys this product, though it is technically called Apparatus for Blood Pressure Reduction, a gadget whose main function is to regulate the blood pressure of hypertensive people, through bio-electricity.

The product was designed by Gao Jiajun who won 8 prizes for his design in international technology invention design, with applied biotechnology medical theory to cure hypertension, and is patented. Among the prizes won by Jiajun were international golden awards from United States, France, Switzerland, Singapore and China.

The following is a summary of the scope and functions of this gadget:

Heart and brain vessel - reduces high blood pressure, balances blood pressure, reduces rate of incidence of diseases of heart and brain vessel, eliminates coronary artery convulsion and lightens heart load.

Brain clearing - clears brain and freshens thinking resulting to enhanced intelligence, eliminates tiredness and insomnia, also resulting to a clear, beautiful face. Pimples may be cleared as well by touching the metal teeth of the comb, also called cogs, on the face for 3-5 minutes, and wrinkles removed by touching the back of the comb, which is a smooth metal ring used for conduction when holding the comb for regular use, also for 3-5 minutes.

Pain - eliminates pain due to headache, omodynia, arthritis, toothache, stomach, liver, kidney stone, pancreas inflammation, pain of waist and back, pneumonia, asthma, etc.

Hair protection - controls hair loss, graying of hair and alopecia or dandruff.

Commonly known as comb massage gadget because it is used like a comb, this gadget follows the same principle of ECG and EKG where abnormal heart rhythms are detected through bioelectricity. The only difference is after the comb detects abnormal currents (positive ions also caused by radiations from cellphones and computers}, it passes though the VIC of the gadget which is an integrated circuit, bringing back negative ions that will balance the body's ions. A faster effect was found in coincidence with acupuncture points, so for hypertensive patients, combing from the top of the head to the nape where there are acupoints at a slow rate of 2 strokes per minute, and also pressing the fingertips of one hand to the cogs, one finger per cog, are highly recommended, both procedures taking 3-5 minutes each. The VIC is working properly if the light indicator is on, otherwise, conduction might be absent due to clothing or absence of touch, or the 2 AAA batteries are not working properly.

The metal teeth of the comb or cogs, cover a big area when combing, so that it is not necessary to identify the exact acupoints of the body. It is lightweight and can be brought anywhere, just like bringing a hairbrush inside the bag. I carry one all the time, and it functions as my hairbrush. I no longer take medicines for headache because this gadget does the job of eliminating my headache, which in the past cannot be removed by paracetamol.

This gadget was the start of it all, the reason why I became a member of Tiens or Tianshi Phils., and I've already told that story in my previous post "At peace in the midst of China scare". The retail price of this product may vary if the member or distributor like me, can give it at a lower price, but at present, the recommended retail price is 3,960 pesos, which is much cheaper than the deposit to be paid in most private hospitals before a patient can be admitted. The gadget has one year warranty and lifetime service warranty.

Lighting references

I’m sure glad to have an addition to my lighting references, thanks to Farreys.com. It offers hundreds of thousands of lighting fixtures, lights, lamps and outdoor lighting in a wide range of styles and at the lowest prices from dozens of top manufacturers including: Ambience, Fine Art Lamps, Flos, Fontana Arte, George Kovacs, Hinkley Lighting, Kichler Lighting, Maxim Lighting, Minka Lavery, Murray Feiss, Quoizel, Sea Gull Lighting and many more.

Maybe it is worth mentioning here a Feng Shui problem in lot shapes that have pointed ends. What’s nice about that is it has a solution, which is as simple as installing a light in that pointed end. I have that kind of lot, its shape is trapezoid. Instead of getting worried about its unfavorable Feng Shui, I’m even excited because I will be forced to install a light, and I’d like a decorative landscape light, if I or any of my children will have a house built there. A Kichler lighting is only one of the many outdoor or landscape lighting to choose from for that purpose.

Speaking of indoor lights or lamps, you’ll surely have a hard time choosing from the breathtaking Maxim lighting or Quoizel lighting among others. Enjoy shopping!

Goal Setting

Yesterday, our team in Tiens had an unexpected goal setting. Since we were not able to prepare for this exercise, we were not so sure if the goals we've set were realistic enough. But I like this exercise because I'm used to this. It was more difficult when I was an officer in a Toastmasters Club because I was one of the people trying to convince or motivate the members to deliver speeches so that the goals of our club for the year are met (from July to June of the following year).

I found a very appropriate article in "The Heart of a Leader" that can explain why I like goal setting exercises. The article says

All good performance starts with clear goals.

The article further explains: An important way to motivate your people is to make sure they know where they are going. See that each person's goals are clearly defined and he or she knows what good performance looks like. This will give them a clear focus for their energy and put them on the road to becoming high performing, empowered producers.

The Stainless Steel Store

Stainless steel is always the solution to products we want to last forever. I found a site that offers several stainless steel products made by Blomus. It is called "The Stainless Steel Store”. You’ll find products for the outdoor, the office, and of course for the home. I think I’d like to own a Blomus stainless steel caddy but that will be more for my personal use. For the whole household, the Blomus stainless steel teapot looks amusing.

As far as toilets are concerned, I guess anybody would like the tidiest toilets to be found in their own homes. Whenever I visit other houses, I would secretly look for tips, from the necessary fixtures found inside the toilets, and I will say stainless steel looks best in this area. In my case, whenever I expect visitors, I would bring out toilet brushes out of my visitors’ sight. But what if I’m not around, or unexpected visitors came inside my house ahead of me? I just found the solution from this same website, so I also would like to own a Blomus stainless steel toilet brush. And there are a lot of other Blomus stainless steel products for the toilets.

For the kitchen? Wow! I’d like to own all those Blomus stainless steel tools or equipments, including the Blomus stainless steel nut cracker. How I wish I’ve learned about this website when we still had a coffee kiosk because the tools we’ve been looking for are all found here. The Stainless Steel Store claims it has the lowest prices, so see for yourself!
