Year Ending 2014

It's now New Year's Day in the Philippines.  I'm glad that my last blog post was about health and wellness in my "Amusing Tips" blog, titled Meridian Therapy.  It was a public service post though it also advertises a particular gadget used for the therapy.

I'm also glad that on New Year's Eve,  my most read blog post was also in the same blog, "Amusing Tips", about a recipe of a fish steak, titled Quick Gindara Steak.  That only shows that fish as part of the menu of "Media Noche" or New Year's Day is a must. I had planned to include it as part of our "Noche Buena" or "Media Noche"  but found the fish too expensive for our present budget.

I hope to be able to post in this blog, which was my first, more posts that will help mankind this 2015. But I'm also hoping that more people will be able to read the post which was the main reason why I created a blog.  It is now in two versions, an updated version titled My Conversation with God on June 12, 2001, and the original version, God's Message. I know that in God's time, these two posts will be read by the right people.

Instinctive Compassion

Belonging to the first batch of trainees implementing TCM therapies at San Lazaro Hospital, I was tasked to assess a patient at the TB ward based on TCM and perform the therapy the patient needed at that time.

In front of me was a body that was all skin and bones. After gathering information from the relatives of the patient,  I was looking for some flesh where acupressure may be applied with or without a gadget but there was none.  I learned that some if not most of these patients go to the hospital when they already have difficulty in breathing.  Once they are relieved with an oxygen tank, they're main complaint would be incessant coughing.

I knew what to do to relieve the complaint, but I admit when I saw the body that looked like a living dead, I had a mental block I didn't know what to do.  The body reminded me of a corpse of a child that I sew after it was autopsied, when I was a Medical Technology intern at the National Children's Hospital.

But this patient is living, my compassionate nature prevailed and my first instinct was simply to comfort him, regardless of his complaint. I got my comb gadget and combed his scalp because I knew it would comfort him.  That made him look relaxed so I came to my senses and thought of the best way that would stop his coughing by scanning that magical comb gadget on the lung meridian of his arm.  His coughing stopped and by the time I left he was already sleeping.  I did the same to the next two patients who complained of incessant coughing and I was glad the same result was achieved:  incessant coughing stopped and they became sleepy. Only one out of the three was awake when I left, but that was because she won't stop telling me her stories.  She told me though that what I did made her feel relaxed and sleepy.

An Awesome Mission

I've just changed the title of this post, replacing the word "difficult" to "awesome", simply because the former sounded negative contradicting the objective of the mission, which is to encourage people to be always positive and get rid of negative thoughts. Of course I have to start with myself, and so far so good.

This mission was inspired by the science of bio-electricity, where most of the gadgets I use for therapy have this principle. I had to research about bio-electricity and I found the book "Wonders of Human Bio-electricity" which became a source of my inspiration. Immediately following this, I have quoted two paragraphs from this book, which I also quoted in my "Amusing Tips" blog.

"One benefits by thinking good. Similarly, one suffers the consequences of bad thoughts. Persons habituated to destructive thinking should know that they are inviting similar thoughts from space which would one day overwhelm their life with misfortune and misery.

An evil or negative thought always produces an adverse reaction in other persons. It contributes to the pollution in the universal thought-bank. Hence one should remain ever vigilant about an unethical thought trying to sneak in mind. The moment an unholy thought crops up in mind, it should be immediately converted and pushed out by more intense constructive thought. Indeed, the most remarkable service of mankind is to always think positively and about welfare of other persons, endeavor accordingly and spread similar thought waves."

I'm sure getting rid of negative thoughts will help me in my current task of performing a massage on my special child for spine alignment, and will also make my current IT research work easier.

I'm thinking of encouraging people through a group in Facebook which was inspired by the book also, and maybe post follow-ups in this blog, so let's see. But first, I guess I need to have an inventory of my previous missions first, check their status and publish that in my next post, so I can start the year with clear objectives and directions for the missions worth pursuing.

Enjoying a mission

Last Friday, I was the speaker in a seminar about Tiens Photon Bio-energy Mattress. I made a script for the talking points, based on the video version. But the powerpoint presentation was original and I really enjoyed creating the slides.

I stuck to the script the first time I presented it, but during the second session, I incorporated a lot of ad lib that would share information from researches I've made that are related to the topic. And that was what I enjoyed the most. Maybe I should blog about one of those ad lib portions.

In the meantime, I can't help but express my joy. Disseminating information about health or wellness has been a part of my mission here on earth and it gives the kind of fulfillment you get from helping mankind. Though it was inevitable to talk about money matters, that topic did not really matter to me.

Sharing information for wellness

The last time I seriously spoke to an audience with a well prepared speech was on August 8, 2005. That was five years ago, I delivered a two-in-one speech titled "Desire to inspire!". It was my salutatory speech as the incoming President of Makati Toastmasters Club, and also my last speech project to finally get the Advanced Toastmasters Silver award.

After five years, I will be speaking seriously again in front of an audience. I am excited because I have a totally different objective this time: to share valuable information that will help the audience, either to earn a living or maintain a healthy body, but the latter is more important because they can't possibly sell a health product if they are not healthy. I can't say that I am qualified to talk about the topic because I am not a medical doctor that the audience could easily believe in whatever I will impart to them, but I know they will feel my sincerity in sharing what I know and have experienced about the best product of Tiens, the Photon Bio-energy Mattress that will keep a person healthy.

I just read that 40% of the Americans are now trying alternative therapies like acupuncture to replace pharmaceutical medicines. I just hope that the doctors in the Philippines will also start integrating Western medicine with other medical studies like TCM. That way, people will be more inspired to be responsible for their own health because a doctor is behind him or her, not only during crisis when curing can be too late, but also during the best times of their lives.

Fulfilling Assignments

I can't remember being so excited whenever there was an assignment or homework when I was still a student. Or maybe not as excited as now. Perhaps because the person who gave me the assignment now is somebody I really admire, none other than the TCM Doctor of Tianshi Phils., Dr. Hector Dela Cruz. I owe this doctor a lot because it was from him that I first learned about TCM or Traditional Chinese Medicine, though he graduated with a Doctor of Medicine degree specializing in Internal Medicine, with honors.

I've learned so much about TCM from him and I will surely learn much much more from the assignments he'll give me. My first assignment was just a coincidence because I had to bring someone to him for a much needed consultation. My next posts in this blog will talk about my assignment which will be a case of blood deficiency (TCM approach). I hope this will not be my first and last assignment from him, though I've already assigned myself other homeworks like the treatment of our special needs child which will require professional physical therapists so I won't be alone in that assignment.

This will be the first time I will say that I love getting older because my assignments become more fulfilling as I become older. Not only because I have accumulated more wisdom, but because I am also challenged to be fit myself. I take care of myself to be able to accomplish assignments to help other people become healthy as well.

The best thing that can happen

I seem so contented with my last post "What is Tiens" that it took me so long to add another post, LOL!

The truth is a lot of things happened the past weeks. I have resigned from my last job to work full time for my network in Tiens. I realized though that this will not be an easy job so I need to also prepare to be able to support my network, like the most accessible place where they can get the Tiens products. So I've partnered with a stockist to also carry Tiens products aside from her usual product lines. She agreed because she wanted to eventually convert her center into a Wellness Center, which is now one of the main programs of Tiens.

My partner and I now need to be trained to run a Wellness Center though my real objective in those trainings is to be an expert in TCM which is the main philosophy behind a Tiens Wellness Center, and be able to support my network, because the best thing that can happen is for all of us to have our own wellness centers, even if it is just for our own families.

A fufilling career

I must admit that I'm enjoying what I'm doing now, while waiting to be accepted to a regular job. With the 600 pesos membership fee that I paid, I can attend as many trainings about Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, conducted by the Tiens leaders for the members.

I loved selling but I didn't have the necessary passion for it. Until I experienced financial distress and should find a way to earn. The first opportunity that would not require me to invest further was to be active in Tiens, where I bought some health gadgets six months ago when I still had enough cash, and which I felt I will be needing to prevent serious illnesses, or that my special child will be needing for her physical therapy. Now, all I have to do is to try selling those kind of health gadgets, which I know will help people avoid the hospital.

What I'm doing now is not easy, because only a few can afford to buy most health gadgets. But if they can be informed how these gadgets, which are based on Traditional Chinese Medicine can prevent diseases, maybe they will prioritize owning some of these gadgets, like what I did, not knowing I was using the last cash I would have in a span of six months.

I can now feel a passion for selling health gadgets, because I know I can help people. I have to patiently study what needs to be learned so I can share the right information and procedures to potential customers. The only question in my mind now is not whether I will really earn from this, but whether this can be a lasting career for me, though I'm sure that it can be a fulfilling career.

Selling an excellent healthcare product!

With a mission to help mankind maintain healthy bodies, I’m very glad to introduce a unique and excellent healthcare product. This product is a fusion of state-of-the-art medical technology and Traditional Chinese Medicine, which was a result of 5,000 years of study. It is now a trend to combine Western Medicine with Traditional Chinese Medicine so this product complements Western Medicine. This product's high quality can be assured because it is manufactured by a multi-awarded and ISO certified global company, Tiens Group Ltd., which has 9 big factories, mostly in China and one in Washington D.C., and 110 offices worldwide.

The product that I am introducing is an Electronic Acupuncture Healthcare Apparatus, called Acumagic. “Acu” was derived from acupuncture because this product simulates the actions and benefits of acupressure and acupuncture. “Magic” because it doesn’t use any needles, instead it uses low-frequency electric impulses. It is effective and each procedure can be completed in 15 minutes. The product comes in a package of 8 parts or gadgets and can be operated with the use of 3 AA batteries.

The main gadget of this product is the Healthcare Apparatus which has several functions. One is to control the mode or action of the sticking plate electrode, which is the gadget that gives low-frequency electric impulses and simulates the action of acupuncture needles or other modes like massage, scraping, etc., so it is applied on acupoints. The package contains a manual that will guide you on how to use every gadget on the package and how to find the acupoints, and three recipes per condition or diagnosis, of the combination of the use of gadgets. These conditions with recipes include neck and shoulder pain, pain in waist and lower extremities, migraine, strain and contusion of soft tissue or myofibrositis, sequelae of cerebrovascular diseases, facial paralysis, cholecystitis and cholelithiasis, chronic bronchitis and bronchial asthma, cerebral arteriosclerosis and sequelae of brain trauma, hypertension, chronic pelvic inflammation disease and appendagitis, and hyperlipidemia.

Another gadget in the package is the magnetic needles-cups. There are really no needles, just a magnetic point at the middle. These cups will tell if there is stagnation of blood and energy in your body, and remove that stagnation which causes the pain. With the use of a rubber pump, the magnetic cup is placed on top of an acupoint creating a vacuum, and cause air to be sucked from the skin. After 15 minutes, remove the cup and check the appearance of the skin. The normal result is just a pinkish area, so when it becomes red like the one on the photo, or violet, it is an indication that there was stagnation of blood in that part of the body and is now alleviated by the procedure.

One of the best gadgets in the package is a diagnostic pen that detects problem areas in the body through the palm of the left hand. The package comes with a diagnostic chart of the palm as guide. A plate electrode is placed on the right palm for grounding then the diagnostic pen, after connecting to the output plug gadget, should be touched on the palm and fingers of the left palm only. Where there is pain, then that is the part of the body that has a problem, based on the chart. The magnetic needles-points or plate electrodes should then be placed on the acupoints related to the problem areas to remove stagnation of blood and energy and eventually preventing those areas from developing diseases. Supplements that will protect the affected organ should also be taken in.

Every family must have Acumagic as part of the first aid kit, so I am encouraging you to get this product. The regular price of Acumagic in the Philippines is 16,200 pesos. Tiens have other health gadgets based on Traditional Chinese Medicine, as well as supplements like powdered zymolitic bone calcium (95% absorbable), zinc, cordyceps, spirulina which Tiens supplies to NASA, and many others.

Wow! Selling to the world is surely an awesome experience! I wonder if I will do this if I'm not in a tight financial situation. Now I believe, that even in the biggest of problems, there are opportunities, like calling out to the whole world, of course with an underlying mission!
